Erick is a sophomore at SUNY Oswego who majors in broadcasting and digital media with a minor meteorology. He’s from Roosevelt, Long Island and moved to New York City in 2013. He’s lived in every borough besides Staten Island (and would like to keep it that way). Erick hopes to become a broadcast meteorologist at a news station. His goal is to use his future position to not only keep people up to date about local weather, but also to help educate them on weather topics typically never mentioned on air.
Erick realized at a young age that he loved history and science. At first he wanted to be a doctor but realized in middle school that’s not what he really wanted.
